The following year, he released another mixtape called ”Purple Reign.” However, he was not slowing down as of yet, as he would release his monumental studio album, ”EVOL” in February, 2016. In June 2016, he appeared in an issue of Rolling Stone.

In February 2017, he released his sixth studio album, ”Hndrxx” a week after releasing his fifth studio album, ”Wrld on Drugs.” He became the first artist to debut two number one albums at the same time on the Billboard 200. His seventh studio album, ”Future Hndrxx Presents: The Wizrd” was inspired by a movie.

Further cementing himself in the music industry, Future made a legendary collaboration with Drake on his eighth studio album, ”Life Is Good.” The hit single now has over 2 billion view on YouTube, and won him a BET Award for Best Hip Hop Video in 2020. The album debuted #1 on the Billboard 200, becoming his seventh consecutive album to debut at number 1.

In November 2020, Future would collaborate with Lil Uzi Vert on the studio album ”Pluto x Baby Pluto.” The album debuted and peaked at #1 on the Billboard 200.

Future’s numbers speak for itself, and he has remained on top of the rap game now for over a decade. He broke the record for the most Billboard Hot 100 entries (125).

In April 2022, GQ named him one of the ”best rappers alive.” After receiving major recognition, Future released his ninth studio album, ”I Never Liked You.” The album featured hit singles like ”Wait For U” ft. Drake & Tems, ”Puffin on Zootiez” and ”I’m Dat N****.”
