Louis’ professional career started in the mid 1980’s when he attempted stand up comedy at a local Comedy Club in Boston. While being discouraged in the local comedy scene, he decided to relocate to Manhattan to pursue his career in stand-up.
In 1993, he began writing for Conan O’Brien’s Late Night show. Two years later, he briefly wrote for David Letterman’s Late Night show.
