Growing up, Blac Youngsta was raised by his grandparents along with his younger brothers. Both of his grandparents were employed and made ends meat, often struggling to put food on the table.

He got his first job at a local grocery store at 7 years old. However, he was later fired after the manager caught him placing fake orders and stealing food to bring home.
