Manny Khoshbin was born on January 14, 1971. Originally born Iran with where he would grow up with his four siblings. Khoshbin later moved to California with his family in 1985 when he was 14 years old.
In high school, he worked at K-Mart earning just $3.15/hour at age 16. His duties entailed collecting carts and sweeping the floors. Due to his strong work ethic, he was named employee of the month four times, later becoming the Sports Goods Assistant Manager.
By 18 years old, Manny started his first business in his senior year of high school. At the time, he learned important business essentials like sales, marketing and overcoming rejection.
However, his business would be shut down after a health inspector came and informed him that his auto/retail business would require a licence.
This would lead Manny to change paths, ultimately ending up in the real estate business.

Later, he found out that the contract for the gas station was fraudulent and he lost everything. After pouring his life savings into this business, he decided to find another way to gain riches in America.
Khoshbin then joined Century West Financial, where he worked as a broker. He spent a number of years working for a real estate firm, gaining valuable experience. Subsequently, this would translate into his own real estate company, ”The Khoshbin Company”.
In 1998, he worked for Fidelity National Funding and was elected as the company’s President. However, Khoshbin would take his success to his own venture.
The Khoshbin Company would grow to a massive business, leading Manny to take the lead and source his own deals and began working with banks and other commercial real estate companies.
Khoshbin is the author of ”Driven: The Never-Give-Up Roadmap to Massive Success” and the founder of ”Contrarian Academy”, a training program for commercial real estate investors.
