In 2016, Pressa was allegedly involved in a kidnapping in which he pistol whipped an individual and forced them to play Russian roulette. Court documents alleged that it was apart of a rivalry between the Queens Drive Crips and the Young Buck Killas, two notorious gangs in Toronto, Canada.
Court documents alleged that the victims were held hostage after a brazen shootout between the rival gangs at a condo near Toronto’s Rogers Centre. However, in December 2019 charges were dropped after the Crown concluded that there was not sufficient evidence to identify Pressa as the gunman.
In November 2017, Pressa would be apart of ”6ix Rising”, a viral documentary of Toronto’s rising hip hip scene. Produced by Noisey, the documentary featured fellow Toronto artists like Jazz Cartier, Friyie, Big Lean and CMDWN.
In April 2021, Pressa began a relationship with rising female rapper, Coi Leray. They would collaborate on his hit song, ”Attachments” garnering more than 9 Million views on YouTube. However, they have since broken off their relationship.

Pressa’s professional career started in 2017 when he released debut single, ”Novacane”. He began to see major media attention from the hip hop industry, and released his first mixtape, Press Machine. The mixtape featured hit singles Deadmihana, T.B.H, and She so Pretty.
Later that year, Pressa released his second mixtape, Press a Brick which featured his hit single, ”Canada Goose” ft. Torey Lanez. As of October 2022, the song has accumulated more than 25 Million views on YouTube.
That same year, Pressa would be co-signed by Canadian rapper, Drake. After charges were dropped from his alleged involvement in a kidnapping, he would be apart of Drake’s Boy Meets World UK Tour. This would allow him to collaborate with UK rappers like Giggs and K Koke.
In October 2018, Pressa collaborated with Lil Uzi Vert on the track, ”420 in London”. He would also collaborate with the late Toronto rapper, Houdini, on the track ”Up & Down” as apart of 6ixBuzz’s compilation album of Toronto artists.
In May 2020, he signed a record deal with Sony Music Canada in conjuction with his BFR (Blue Feathers Records) record label. The label includes popular Toronto native rappers like WhyG and J-Neat.
